Why do People Reject my Prophetic Call?

Why do People Reject my Prophetic Call?

3 Reasons People Reject Your Call

When Jesus calls you, fall madly in love and passionately say, "Lord, use me!" You go to minister and then people give you the "cold shoulder". They start avoiding you and you think, "what did I do wrong?". Rejection can be a normal part of prophetic training. But for your maturity, I want you to know why they're hating on you, and how to move past the rejection phase!

1. Culture

Every church has an established culture. The Apostle of the house may prefer you to be silent. At another church, the Apostle may get mad if you don't shout. It's likely that you're facing rejection not because you're anointed, but because you're following the culture.

Learn the culture of the house so you know how to conduct yourself. It's up to you to seek God on if you need to submit to this culture like Paul or transform it like Peter.

2. Authority

You may have a 100% accurate word from God but if you don't have the liberty to share it, you're out of order. As prophets, we're not required to minister any time and anywhere. We must do it with wisdom. Consider how the apostles were not allowed into Asia until a certain time.

Be mature and wise. Minister where you have authority today and serve so you gain greater authority in the future.

3. Warfare

I knew you were looking out for this point, but let me give you more understanding! God and the enemy will use people to crush you. God wants to crush your carnal man so you can grow in the spirit. The devil wants to crush you so you give up on your call.

If you're facing warfare, pray for the person it's coming from (as if they were someone you loved) and then take authority over the attacks of the enemy.

YOUR CALL IS STILL VALID

Even though it's rejected, it only makes it more noticeable in the right area. If you want some help overcoming rejection and stepping into prophetic maturity, I got your answers.

Rise of the Prophetic Champions is a guide on how to access every gift God gave you and how to work with leaders.

Honestly, it talks about tough topics like ministry politics and becoming a leader yourself.

It's a good read for anyone who sees problems in the church and wants to become part of the solution.

If you ever need help on a specific situation, I'll be glad to give your some feedback and spiritual direction. I believe your rejection is a footstool to your promotion!
